I've tried so many things to get a print to stick. I got one set of Alpacas done and it was right at the beginning of the troubleshooting and I was like "thank goodness" but then it went to shit after that. I couldn't even get a calibration cube to print successfully. By last Thursday I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong. I went though all the motions to fix the issue, some even repeatedly:
- Changed nozzle another hardened steel nozzle
- Level Bed
- Level Auxiliary Bed
- Auto Level Again
- Increased Auto level region from 36 to 120
- Auto Level Again
- attempted calibration cube - failed
- printed z-offset test
- actually printed okay, but looked like there was a clogged nozzle
- Changed hardened steel nozzle again.
- Preformed maintenance in cleaning belts & greasing lead screws.
- Switched back to an OEM Elegoo Brass Nozzle
- got a z-offset test to print, but a calibration almost failed immediately.
- Ran Bed Matrix... well shit:

I attempted to fix the warped bed. But nothing I found helped. While technically the printer attempts to offset the tool to help with a bed level, 1.0mm discrepancy is massive (shouldn't be more than 0.2). The biggest issue for me here is printing a calibration cube in the middle of the bed should not be affected by the warping as it's not that big (Like a 20mm cube) and it's still failing.
This coming week I'm going to reach out to Elegoo support and see if they have any recommendations as I'm thinking this may be a hardware issue altogether. Barely crossed 600 hours on the printer :(
Either way I ordered a couple of things in a hope that it helps. More on that next week...
